An advocacy group, Salvation and Service (SnS), has urged the people of Abia South to support the Abia South senatorial candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr Michael Kasarachi Enyinna, in the 2027 election, describing him as “a breath of fresh air pushing the envelope.”
A press statement by Prince Tim Nwaro, general secretary of the group, expressed confidence that Kasarachi would provide purposeful leadership capable of addressing the yearnings of the people.
He said that over the years, Kasarachi, through his foundation, has empowered youths, provided support for women and widows, delivered healthcare and other services to lighten the burden of vulnerable people in underserved communities.
He said the zone needed a top-notch representation that would extend meaningful development to every community, particularly areas that had not adequately benefited from the previous era.
The group urged the electorate to give Kasarachi Enyinna an opportunity to translate his vision into reality, maintaining that his vibrancy and youthfulness will be a great advantage in the upper legislative chamber.
The group argued that being a young person, Kasarachi’s election to the Senate will bring distinct advantages, transforming both the legislative institution and the individual’s professional trajectory.
The group said: “Kasarachi Michael Enyinna is like a breath of fresh air. He is fresh and young; he is not carrying any baggage. Being represented in parliament by a young person offers distinct political, social, and structural advantages, particularly in how future-focused policies are designed and implemented.
“As a private individual, Kasarachi Enyinna has distinguished himself in business and philanthropy. Many individuals and communities have benefited from his fountain of human kindness.
“Over the years, he has remained committed to breaking the cycle of poverty in Abia South and elsewhere. He believes that every young person, woman, and child deserves access to opportunity to thrive.
“He believes in empowering underserved communities through education, healthcare, entrepreneurship and digital innovation. He is a man of ideas and ideas rule the world.
“He has exciting credentials. He is a capital market expert, investment banker and policy maker. With these, there is no doubt Abia South will get a better deal in the Senate.”
