Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, and Oyo State Governor and APM presidential candidate, Seyi Makinde, have prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of the late Alhaji Bamanga Tukur during a condolence visit to his family in Yola, Adamawa State.
The two governors led other leaders of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) to the family’s residence, where they offered prayers and expressed sympathy with the deceased’s loved ones.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the governors prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive Tukur’s shortcomings, grant him eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus and give his family the fortitude to bear his death.
They also conveyed their condolences to the bereaved family, assuring them of the delegation’s sympathy during the difficult period.
Receiving the visitors on behalf of the family, Awwal Tukur expressed appreciation to the governors and other APM leaders for their show of concern.
He thanked the delegation for travelling to Yola despite their tight schedules, describing the visit as a meaningful demonstration of solidarity and compassion.
Awwal Tukur also acknowledged the prayers and support offered by the party leaders as the family mourns its loss.
